SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Microsoft Corp. co-founder Paul Allen is suing Apple Inc. , Google Inc. and nine other parties alleging patent infringement, acccording to a complaint filed Friday in a Seattle federal court. Allen’s Interval Licensing LLC alleges that Apple, Google, Google’s YouTube unit, AOL Inc. , eBay Inc. , Facebook Inc., Netflix Inc. , Office Depot Inc. , OfficeMax Inc. , Staples Inc. and Yahoo Inc. infringed any one of four patents covering suggestions for shopping, news, video and other online content.
