I’m staying in the East Coast (mostly in NYC) this winter, and I need to buy a winter coat. I would like something more sleek and stylish than a North Face, or a down jacket. Are trench coats warm enough for the cold East Coast winter? Also, what should I look for when buying a trench coat (i.e. material, recommended brands, etc.) ?

I’m a person that tends to use the bathroom quite a bit…I’m physically fit and almost 18. I’m wondering if there are a lot of chances to use the restroom at basic training(MOST WITH PERMISSION OF COURSE) or are chances of bathroom breaks rare?

hey guys hows it goin. so today is my birthday and i just turned 19 woo hoo! lol. anyways yesterday i took 2 of my friends and their 1 friend from work out to disney. my one friend has been wanting me and her to meet for a while now because he thinks we could have a connection. she is a really nice and sweet girl. at disney we didnt really talk that much because i just have no clue what to say and how to talk to someone. ive never had a girlfriend or any of that other fun stuff that comes with that. also these two friends are pretty much the only friends i have ever had so i really dont know how to really talk to someone. i have always coasted through just by myself and never really talked unless i had to. im really getting tired of being a nobody. all through out high school i was invisible to everyone and so far in college its going the same way. i want to know how can i break out of my shell and start to be somebody. also how can i talk to this girl? im kind of into her and i dont want to not talk to her. i know that alot of you guys are going to tell me to just say something but its really not that easy for me. i tell myself that i am going to do something this time but then i just go right back into that shell. how can i force myself to do this? thanks everyone.

I am currently writing a story about America being invaded by another super power. The invasion in my story would be next to impossible in reality, but simply it goes like this. A large military nation (not sure who yet most likely china Russia or britian depending on how it pans out) sneaks a large transport aircraft ( and I say sneaks loosely) into Colorado and air drops troops while simutaniously attacking the coasts. The story itself is about a civilian that is killing invading groups where he is at and eventually meets up with a marine core unit that is trying to eliminate enemy pressence in the area. I am having trouble finding out about what the military would actually do here and how things would be handled on the field. Especially what the rules are about picking up civies that would be helping them. I have never been in the military or a warzone so I was hoping someone could help me shed some light in this it would be greatly appreciated
